Did you really commit to it? Did you really want the suicide to succeed? Like you drove top speed into a solid building with no seat belt?

Avoid alcohol

Exercise - not even for physical benefits it’s amazing what a 20 minute jog worth of endorphins will do to your brain

Meditate

Pray

Understand that life hurts sometimes but for as low as you may feel there is also a high just as equal in magnitude that is possible

And honestly we all die eventually just try to make the most of it - and that doesn’t come from physical material things

Hope you’re doing ok

Great to see you coming out of the dark woods. We've all had our rough times but we survived and you will too.

Continue doing what you're doing and you'll be fine.

You’re about to be a daddy. There’s nothing else quite like it. She will love you more you’ll be able to understand.

Let me tell you; there’s NOTHING like the love of a child.

No matter how you feel about yourself she will think you’re the best.

Awesome to hear. Stick with the gym. Make it a routine regardless of results. It can make alot of differences.

I took someone's advice years ago and it really helped. Take a selfie with your shirt off every month and compare. You'd be surprised. The small daily improvements aren't usually noticable but a month of consistency will show.

Texas Tiger - Good news to hear from you. Also, the gym isn't just to make you look good..... it releases tension and makes you feel good. Keep it up and stay focused. We all have one shot at this life. Make it your best shot and stay positive. Peace be with you pal.

You’re not the only one who feels this way. There are a lot of people on this site (myself included) who don’t have much of a social life and don’t have many friends. I realized who all my real friends were and who all my fake friends were right when the 2020 pandemic hit.

But part of being a man is accepting the fact that most people in this world only care about you if you provide something of value to them. That goes for women, work acquaintances, old college friends, etc.

Yes sir. True story. I was drunk, had eaten a couple of Xanax. Stopped at a pay phone after leaving the bar, called the ex and cried and begged her to come back. She was very ugly about it then hung up on me. By the grace of God I was not seriously injured. My car was totaled, I got a DUI and lost my job because I lost my CDL.
