buy tickets to go to this?

My kids along with most kids in our neighborhood are begging their parents to go see this. I don't see how a YouTube gaming celeb can transition to a stage and put on a production. Tickets seem awfully expensive for something like this. I have no idea of what to expect or if it's even worth the money or time. I went ahead an purchased tickets because my kids are enamored with Dan TDM. Hopefully, they won't be disappointed.

Update: 5/1/17

So, I took my kids to the Dan TDM tour at the Sanger Theater yesterday afternoon. The theater was jammed packed. Looked like it was sold out. Going in I was very skeptical and wondered how in the hell can someone on YouTube talking about playing a video turn it into a show on a stage. Well, my skepticism was right. This show was TERRIBLE! It was just a two person show and the premise of the show was Dan and his Evil Twin battling about something in virtual reality and they bring up kids out of the audience to play games to help defeat the evil twin.

Dan TDM has to be sitting there thinking, "I can't believe these idiots are spending money on this." I paid about $300 to take my kids to this and when I asked them did they enjoyed it, they said it was ok. Man, I feel like I just got juked out of $300. If any of you are considering going to this, do yourself a favor and DON'T!!! I was looking at the faces of the parents walking out and majority of them looked like what the hell did I just spend my money on

my kid has mentioned this name before. i dont see how they can watch other people play games. I could have never done that when I was a kid.

I'd probably think about taking them if it was some hot youtube chick but it sounds like a dude so they are out of luck on this one.

I encourage him on minecraft because it helps with creativity and I'd rather he play that than screaming cuss words at newbs on CoD

I made fun of the fact he wanted to pay something like $75/person to watch someone play video games

I know he has at least one live event on his channel. I seent it!!

My kids don't watch his videos much any more but that's probably because they've seen all of them. Not sure if they'd be interested but I'm not bringing it up just in case.

I'd take my kid, but it doesn't look like he's coming to Atlanta or anywhere close.

I don't get it either. I had a few older brothers and hated having to watch them play.

My kid loves DanTDM, so we bought tickets for the kid's birthday. That is 2 hours of my life that I will never get back. OP did a good job summarizing it. It was AWFUL!

Looking on the bright side, I'm sure it's better than sitting through Mama Mia, with the accompanying ABBA soundtrack.
