I think the topic is bathrooms with multiple fixtures.

I bring them in the men's restroom and usually the handicap stall.

Places like SAMs has a family bathroom which is nice!

Ruffino's in Lafayette a few months ago, I walk into the bathroom and there's some dude changing his daughter's diaper on the floor in the middle of the bathroom. she's on the ground with nothing underneath her just spread eagle legs in the air with a dirty diaper next to her and her dad trying to open up a new one. "Sorry, we'll be out soon." I was kind of angry someone would do that.

You should be angry that Ruffino's didn't have a changing station in the men's room. Dude had to make do. I've faced the SAME situation and you either offend people by doing it on the counter next to the sink or you use the floor.

This. I'm not much for government regulation... but any business that would potentially have children should be required to have two changing tables - one in the men's room and one in the women's room. They are not that expensive.

It's extrememly frustrating to have to change a dirty diaper when there is no changing table. The diaper bag we used had a little fold up mat, that you were supposed to put on the table... but if there was no table, I generally put the mat on the floor, inside a handicap stall if one was available.

As to the OP, you have to take her to the men's room, if there is no family bathroom. I have two daughters and that is what I do. I just tell them to close their eyes and I lead them by hand to the stall.

My daughter is 3.5. I have been taking her everywhere with me since she was 6 months old. I always bring her in the Men's room. I am not going in the women's room. Never had an issue. Because I have brought her with me places for 3 years she doesnt freak out when its time to pee.

Yet another problem which can be avoided by having only sons.

I take my 3 year old to the men's room and use a stall. The main drawback to doing this is I typically have to get a wad of TP to clean urine drops off the seat and bowl where her legs dangle. Also hold her under her armpits while she goes to avoid her supporting herself with hands on that nasty seat.
