I forgot to mention the Bulldog off of Perkins. Definitely a good place to day drink a beer or two but hard to stay there over an hour.
I'll always have a soft spot for BD (was a regular for several years, then worked there -- not as the cleaning lady, then went back to being a regular). Most of my closest girlfriends are from going to that bar. That said, I definitely go through phases where I spend time away to make myself miss it again.
Oweo - Search Mother's Lounge. They recently redid their menu to be a bit more crowd-pleasing/normal, but they had for a while steak empanadas.. mozzarella stuffed risotto balls.. tuna tartare.. etc.

Is the Londoner still around? A friend and I briefly hosted trivia there when they first opened back in 2011ish?
It's called Smiling Dog now, but similar vibes. More bar-ish than Londoner was.

The peak of Wednesday night pint night. I remember when a line would be out of the door. It was beyond packed.

Had one of the best nights out during undergrad on a Wednesday night. Whisky, blues, and young lady lawyers.

How's the Vineyard these days?
Icehouse must have some regulars If they're still open. I remember going when it was brand new.

The Cove still around? I used to love that place
Sorta.
Tom closed the Citiplace location and reopened on Essen as The Lost Cove.

I still have Pint glasses in my liquor cabinet from Bulldog 2004-2009 while at LSU. Easy drive through the valley back to College Drive.

Say what you ill about Baton Rouge, Lord knows I do too, but I sure do miss the hell out of that, LSU, college life, etc. It was when life was way more simpler than it is now.
