Those cane fields are creepy.

The competition was much different between Raceland and Midnght. We won all our games last weekend and didn't win one this weekend. Tied today though.

What age group? if it was the 2005 team, I am not surprised. My sons team beat them yesterday and one of the moms was openly telling her son to hurt people.

Y'all play SMSC? I think the 05 team is Barcelona.

My kids are not involved in soccer but I go watch my god child play from time to time. The Sideline coaching sucks.

I don't remember the actual team. We beat them 4-1 and it wasn't even that close. They were called White 05 in the schedule.

I was just asking in general. They moved up some 06 kids and left some back on our team. We're SMSC, from the coast of Mississippi, but my boy plays on one of the 06 teams.

I'm probably too hard on my boy, but I don't say anything to anyone else out there. I just want him to get after it. He's always being put into different positions, played everything but goalie this weekend, and he struggles with what to do.

I try not to be too hard on my boy but it's hard not to. I just want him to put forth decent effort and he doesn't always do it, that's what pisses me off.

My beef is when the refs can't call a consistent game. Will allow one team to jostle for position, but penalise the other team for the same basic shoving. A ref has a lot of subjective control.

Never played soccer, but in my pre high school days, I was on a travel ball baseball team from the Houma area. There was another team as well. I believe the stories, because fans of other teams consistently told us they were not happy to be playing the Houma team going into the day, because they thought we were the other team from Houma. Even had a Burger King or something tell us we couldn't eat there until we explained that we weren't the same team. There's some good in Houma, but it isn't as vocal as the bad

The referees let them run up the score!!! It was ridiculous! It was 2-0!!

Wasn't a bunch of bull dykes by any chance was it?

Saw whole bus load of these nasty skanks Saturday at the brew pub.

Yeah I don't think Montegut can handle a big soccer tournament like the one mandeville just hosted.

The person who told me about it today said 150 teams with a fair involved. Blackhawks was the name of the team that is two time champion.

We were out there all weekend, '05 Boys. No issues except with a couple of crappy refs. One was so bad, the line judge apologized at our next game. She was the worst I have ever seen...
