Culture clash at Mandeville soccer tournament

This weekend there was a huge youth soccer tournament in Mandeville. Today some Houma parents got upset with a referee and caused a huge scene, to the point where the cops were called out. Worst part is these poor kids just want to play soccer and they've got to stop the game so the police have to deal with their idiot parents.
I got the story from a family member who was there, but did any OT'ers witness the situation?

Welcome to club soccer. Parents are loony. I was there all weekend. Was in Raceland last weekend and it was nutty. Parents and coaches were ready to fight.

It's stupid how some parents get, I remember playing and just wanted to tell some parents to shut up. Especially when it came to the offsides rule.

Parents ruin all youth sports. Usually soccer is the least problematic, but they have some crappy parents there too

The Blackhawks are probably the worst soccer club on the Gulf Coast with the worse parents and coaches. We've played every club from Lake Charles to Panama City and there's no other club as bad as the Blackhawks.
