Never been but I want to go. Not sure how it's set up. I really just want to go look at cars. The venues seem pretty spread out. For those of you familiar with CTC, what is the best way to see most of the cars on display (parked)?

make your way to the old Vets home in gulfport they tend to have a bunch there. its a traffic cluster frick though. if the weather is nice they drive the beach and chill. many people set up shop along the beach and just watch cars as they go by. If i were you i'd plan out a few locations where they cars set up and go from there.

The best way to watch the cars is bring a cooler, your chairs and park in a parking bay somewhere in Gulfport or Biloxi on 90 and just watch the cars go by

If we go by today's event in Downtown Gulfport we will have more cars this year than ever before

The best way to see cars is to find a spot along the beach and just watch. There are plenty of events to go to. Ill be down there Friday evening. There will be plenty of shows and cruise ins as well. Definitely go, you'll have a great time.

Red 14 challenger with black wheels, carbon fiber spoiler, polished and waxed to perfection, with crazy halo rings and a very, very loud exhaust, that's me. Probably will be with a purple and black Chrysler 300 with crazy colored halo lights as well. We need to have an OTGT sometime this weekend.

Ocean Springs is a spot I'd recommend as well, pretty neat setting. Streets blocked off in an older town and the cars park along the street. At least that's how it was the last time I went.

I'll probably just walk the streets in old Towne BSL when it comes here, but we've been seeing cars for a bit now. Drove to Ocean Springs twice this weekend and they're everywhere. Only seen one nice Ferarri, most of these vehicles I wouldn't even want to take a ride in.

Last year we went to Ocean Springs and walked downtown for most of the day Saturday. Live bands, a ton of cars lining the streets and bars along the street to stop by and get a drink. We've gone 4 straight years and it was my most enjoyable trip to date. We stay at the Beau Rivage and will be seeing Huey Lewis at the IP on Saturday night. The Beach Boys usually play at the Beau Rivage every year for cruising the coast.

Edit: Also, the auction at the Coliseum always has the best cars... Last year a Super Bee went for $280,000. $15 to get in but hundreds of cars to see in one place and all available for the right price.

Speaking of cruising, it seems like a 45 yr old muscle car would be last damn vehicle you'd want to do that in. Muscle cars were shitty when they were new. Poor style, poor handling, poor concept. If people were driving around in old European classics I'd be out there right now. Old muscle cars, though they be of some value now, are ugly and usually in very poor style. The jokers who bring their trailers down and set up a used car lot on 90 are the worst. As much as I realize I live in MS, the general class of the area goes down during this event.
