Yep. It couldn't possibly be your problem.

When you contrast the number of conservative posters here with the cascade of downvotes on every one of your posts it seems unlikely that "liberals" are solely responsible.

Creationists believe that the earth is only 6,000 years old
No, we don't
Some guy put together a genealogy, and claimed it based on his math. 6,000 years is not IN the Bible, nor have I ever been taught that
And besides, our 24 hour day is based on the Earth and Sun cycles. Yet the sun wasn't created until the 4th day. Hard to claim days 1-3 were 24 hours then, huh?

about the same fat chance in believing that out of dark matter there was an explosion that created shite. Because those of us that have witnessed explosions, have been awed by all the lifeforms they created
Or the fact that at some point a male and a female organism just happened to evolve close to each other, to be able to reproduce, all the while having a limitless supply of food to maintain their offspring. A food source that also just happened to appear close enough to them to be eaten. And continually regenerate without the ability to reproduce. Since the male and female were the first ever reproducible organisms to evolve, and all

If elected officials had any voice in this project moving forward, just example 1,078 of why we have separation of church and state.

You live in a country where you've been brainwashed into thinking they are supposed to be separate.
You're just gonna drop this bomb, and disappear? Please elaborate.

I love that you're so foolish, that you think is just liberals downvoting you.
And that shite is so long. Nobody is going to read it.

Because there's a difference between creationism and intelligent design believers. I don't think anyone would criticize believing God played a hand in guiding evolution. But when someone says the Earth is 6,000 years old, everyone will laugh at them.

God isn't real. It's time for adults to stop believing in childish things. It's also time for religion to stay the frick out of government.

For anyone who thinks they just got a tax credit. They got a hell of a lot more than that. I would be pissed if I was a tax payer there. This guy sounds like every other con artist that starts a church solely so God can gift him a mansion and six cars.

$18 million in state tax incentives to offset the cost of the park’s construction; a 75 percent property tax break over 30 years from the City of Williamstown (a town of about 3,000 near where the park will be located); an $11-million road upgrade in a rural area that would almost exclusively facilitate traffic going to and from the park; a $200,000 gift from the Grant County Industrial Development Authority to make sure the project stays in that county; 100 acres of reduced-price land and, finally $62 million municipal bond issue from Williamstown

There's nothing wrong with people having faith. Only an a-hole would say that.
What is problematic, is when religious people try to make their beliefs into law.

Someone getting a $50k tax break is the exact same thing as no tax break + the government writing them a $50k check. Drives me crazy that people don't understand this. I'm not even opining on the wisdom of anything, just that people don't understand that there is no difference between the government collecting then spending or not collecting in the first place. The balance sheets are identical.
So in your mind if I say I was going to rob you of $100 but decided not to at this time, that's the exact same thing as me giving you a $100 bill? fricking brilliant.
Posted on 6/26/17 at 7:31 am to DavidTheGnome
So much for separation of church and state.
Tax money should not have funded it.

You can't be this dumb. A tax break is different because it is money the government would otherwise be collecting but isn't. So the treasury is out money it would otherwise have to spend. Your crappy analogy should read:
If I owe you $100 but decide to not pay you.
