I'd love to hear the radio recording leading up to this. Once a cop is killed, they go nuts...steroids rage kicks in and the shaved head neanderthals are going to shoot someone. It's nothing more than a mob of armed morons out of control

Are you serious? He shot a cop. I would have loved to put a bullet in his head as well

It isn't about killing the perp. I don't think anyone is defending the criminal, but you don't shoot 377 rounds in a neighborhood in a bunch of different directions. The issue is the lack of self control the police officers showed after one of them was killed.

Seems to be so in this case. Probably save the taxpayers a few bucks

You good with this?

1. It is murder and the cops should all be charged with crimes.

2. Cops have been known to get the wrong house or car. Imagine if they had shot up the wrong car.

This was vigilante justice pure and simple.

Too bad some of the cops... well nevermind.

I am.

It is not up to the cops to exact their revenge any more than it is up to you and I to get revenge for our loved ones. That is left up to the court's and the criminal justice system.

It seems that many here are ok with the cops killing the guy as long as they do not risk by standers. If cops can get away with killing this guy, what about the next guy? What about when they identify the wrong car and kill the wrong person?

These cops are murderers in the same way that you and I would be murderers if we hunted down and killed someone that caused the death of our loved ones.

You give these vigilante's a free pass just because they were cops or do you support others taking the law in their own hands?

I do not understand your position, is it a "kill the criminal" position or is it a "cops can do what they want" position?

I have no problem with the cops actions. You wanna rob someone and shoot a cop? You end up dead. I wish this would happen more often actually. Crime rates would go down if people were held accountable for their actions

No way to prove that. You weren't there. And if it was vigilante justice, criminals shouldn't rob people, take them hostage/kidnap or shoot people. Bad stuff can happen.

So what if the passenger in the car was being held hostage? In fact there was no way of knowing if he was or wasnt before the cops turned the car into a target.

It does not take 377 rounds from 23 different cops to kill one man period. frick it wouldn't take 377 rounds to kill a damn elephant.

well I'm ok with it because only criminals were hit in this case. If the 12 year old or 4 month old had been hurt this would be really bad. It was extremely reckless to be that inaccurate when firing.

The two men inside the car survived that initial volley of gunfire, according to witnesses, who said they could see the men moving inside the Volvo. Everything went quiet for nearly two minutes before the officers opened up a second time – unleashing an unrelenting torrent of bullets that lasted almost 25 seconds. By the time it was over, the two men inside the car were dead.

Nothing these cops did was right.

The other guy in the car hadn't done anything, so are you still okay with it?

What about the other guy in the car? There is nothing in the article that indicates the cops had any clue who he was, much less if he was involved in the crime. Even if he was associated with the driver, it is possible he had no idea what the driver had done at the time he got into the car, or the worst case situation, he was taken against his will as a hostage by the driver. The cops were totally negligent in this situation.

It's not a "kill the criminal" position. It's kill the criminal who already shot one of you're coworkers who is actively trying to escape capture and may be willing to shoot/kill more innocent people. If he would have given up once police found him, he'd still be alive. He chose the hard route.

So, cops alone get the right to kill people that kills someone they love?

If the cops had killed one of the kids, you would have supported the dad hunting down the cops and killing them, as long he did it on the same day?

You give them the pass because their "juices" were flowing?
