It's not an offense (in LA anyway) but you sign the ticket in lieu of getting booked into lockup and being assigned a date.

Yeah because that dude seemed just like the type of cop to be worried about meeting quotas....

I thought that cop did an excellent job.
It is annoying as hell for some dude to roll up next to you with no consideration at all. I support tickets for assholes.

So you're telling me that the "average" cop would allow that kind of disrespect without even putting an extra charge on this guy?
I didn't realize I could go off on cops whenever I feel like it. Will try this next time I'm unlawfully pulled over and I'll update my results
