Thoughts?
As a non combat vet I'm a little confused by this, as it seems like a look at me attempt.

Until he flips out and shoots someone or beats the crap out of someone after they launch several mortar rounds from the street outside his house.

god people are a bunch of whiney bitches. i dont recall seeing any of these signs in the many WW2 and Vietnam vet's yards when I was a kid.

Got a vet buddy that doesn't do well around fireworks. Brings him to bad places.

Some of my buddies are more affected by ptsd than others. Seems odd to me though because he likely shoots and whatnot still.

If you are a combat vet living in my neighborhood you might want to find a place to go visit for a week or so. We blow shite up.
I have dealt with a number of combat vets who have seen some really horrible shite. I feel bad for them. But they need to take the initiative to remove themselves from ordinary circumstances that make them uncomfortable without trying to convince others to change their customary behavior.

Wounded Warrior hat - check.
Sign telling everyone of vet status - check.
Probably so.

Reminds me of one of the final scenes from The Pacific. The one where Eugene Sledge can't even go on a hunt with his dad.

I bet he goes to the movie theater and tells them to be considerate while making popcorn.

I'd have no problem with it...
Well hello good sir, might I get you a refreshing beverage or perhaps a lawn chair in which to enjoy my spectacular fireworks display?
See that was easy.

Seems his posture could use a little work.

Was probably first in line to see American Sniper. And fake cried in the end or made a show of leaving early because the movie "brought back too many memories."

It seemed less about PTSD for Sledge, although he did have adjustment issues when he got back. More like he just had seen enough death and harm to people that he didn't even want be around it anymore, including for animals.

Reminds me of when I went to see "Jarhead" in the theater in Monroe. Two guys showed up wearing their Marine BDU's and then hung around the outside the theater having a smoke and just waited for everyone that just saw the movie to start pouring all over them. Huge douchers.
