“I’m not going to send federal troops into Louisiana to arrest people for whatever you do down there, smoking crayfish. Want me to ban that and send federal troops down there? I bet maybe smoking crayfish ain’t good for you. What if it’s fried? Might clog your arteries, huh?”

I thought Repubs were for more state control and Dems were for more big government. Sounds like they both play whichever side of the argument fits their purpose.

When you boil it all down, there isn't much difference between dems and repubs once elected.
The differences are all in campaign rhetoric.
