It's pretty cool these shoes have stayed relevant for almost a century now. The first pair came out in 1917

I was a kid in the 80's & rocked the high tops in bright colors. Now I think the high top versions sort of look like clown shoes. I've had a couple of pairs of the low top version since college but haven't owned a pair for quite some time because they were so uncomfortable.

I may get a pair of the all white lows when they become available. I like the subtle upgrades they've made & it sounds like they will finally be comfortable now.

What do the OT fashion experts think about the classic shoe's redesign? Anyone going to buy a pair?

Wore them a lot as a kid. Still like them today, but I wear Vans usually nowadays as my simple canvas shoe of choice.

My brother wore black and white Chuck Taylors with his tux during his wedding. He also forced all 9 groomsmen to purchase black and white Chuck Taylors for the wedding.

I thought it was a bad idea at first but I have to admit that it looked pretty cool in the pictures. Other than the shoes, everything else was very formal.

However, they were the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. Terrible quality.

Better than the ones that everyones wearing these days..They are terrible. Idk what itis about the design of them but they make peoples lower legs look unattractive imo. Clown shoes is fitting.

I hope the new ones are more comfy...there has to be an upside to Nike purchasing the brand.

Chuck Taylor All Star

I've always hated this fricking things.

They're ugly, pooly designed, and usually worn on people that are either slobs or hipsters.
