My wife doesn't want me anywhere near her tree, and I'm perfectly okay with that

Pour a big drink. Put on Christmas music, Sit down and tell her everything she is doing is perfect.
Who gives a shite how she hangs stuff on the tree?! My wife can wrap it in toilet paper for all I care...whatever she does, I tell her its beautiful and she fetches me another cocktail. Life is good.

A few years ago my ex got pissed with my tree ribbon wrapping abilities and threw the star at me. I threw it back. We kept the ribbon.

I'm not sure. I set up 2 trees today. My wife and daughter are decorating them right now.
I'll set up the lights outside tomorrow.
