Why not? If the employee starts at $11/hr, then you have to assume the ones who have been there a while make significantly more. If the average FT employee is making $13/hr, and then you throw in the benefits required for FT employees, it's very easy to come up with $3600/employee.

So what if I "started" full time at $11?

I get what you are saying but you can't tell me every starting employee is part time only.

So if starting pay is $11, are you saying that all employees that "start" are part time?

I don't think the $3,600 was the entire monthly wages of the store, but still it reads strange. Maybe if he only has 8 full time workers, but at $11/hour that would be more like $3,600/week not month.

It's likely that only managers are full time.

Because it says nothing about average.

it says "starting pay is $11 and he pays his full-timers $3600 before taxes" in one sentence

shitty article if that's what it means, just needs to add the word average. crap-writing.

well why would you say $11/hr for starting employees and literally in the same sentence with no comma talk about full-timers making $3600, which isn't $11/hr I mean at least be consistent.

Are the $11/hr part timers

I believe he is renovating it b/c they are crazy busy and he had to expand the parking lot and drive thru to handle all their customers. I remember reading that it like the 5th or 6th busiest Chick-fil-As in the US.

This is right by my work and it is ALWAYS busy.

He's laughing at you because you used an adjective to describe a verb. You should have written that it was worded poorly. In reality, it wasn't written poorly, you just didn't comprehend it very well.

Sorry liberal media/America, your bullshite agenda doesn't slow this business down.

No i got that, I wrote written bad instead of poorly. I also am posting on a message board and am not getting paid to write about finance on yahoo. I made an grammatical error, but it was still clear what I was saying.

the article is very clear...you are just trying to cover up the fact that you couldn't understand a simple sentence.

I always liked Chik-fil-A as a business. I really didn't like how the Boston mayor treated that situation years ago. Cathy's views on ssm have nothing to do with whether or not he can make a decent chicken sandwich, and it is insanely narcissistic to forge such a contrived connection between the two, especially since Cathy's views were exposed only when asked about them.

I think his views on ssm are ignorant, but it is very narrow-minded to use such an opinion to define his entire person. Judging him by his deeds, he is obviously a man of commendable character.

I disagree, it's vague at best. It's worded shitty. I had to infer to figure out what he meant with the numbers because he didn't define what he was talking about and used an inconsistent figure scheme.

How hard is it to comprehend? Starting pay for regular employees is 11.00 an hour.

Full time employees make 3600 a month before taxes, so basically 22.50 an hour.

The only full time employees at a fast food joint is going to be the managers, shift, assistant, and RGM
