You're trying to reason with the unreasonable. It can't work. facts or logic aren't important to these types.

Yeah. Whether she intended to or not, that's the exact plan that Chauna laid out in her little Mein Kampf rant.

Gravy's stance on all of this is funny.

He wants NBR to be funded by the taxpayers, wants black people to only spend money at black owned business, and for white people to gtfo out.

His business plan is comprised of two conflicting economic and political ideologies.

He wants the government to take money form one area, then have the government use that money to build businesses, then allow those businesses to exist and operate while paying no taxes. All while handicapping other businesses outside of that area with increased taxes and neglect of public infrastructure.

That's an attitude that will get the prosperous parts of the community to leave in a hurry.

You can't have that attitude then be completely shocked when a new millage is flat out rejected by the MC that represents the backbone of the city-parish's financial income.

Where did the "north Baton Rouge people" live when north Baton Rouge was still "prosperous"?

Well, please give me a more palatable explanation of how taxing one side of town, giving that money, risk-free, to another side of town with no expectation of return, and taxing the receiving side of town virtually nothing supposed to be "leveling the playing field".

SmackDaniels

Liberals do not like facts. I've used them against them, and the white guilters claim i'm racist, because i used facts that show that democratic run cities=crime ridden.

All of the top10-15 are democratic strongholds, and those who get lucky and get a independant in there, is blocked at all angles by the city democrats, which is why no republicans or true independants run.

Last St.Louis Mayor who Ind. or Repub;ican was over 50+ years ago. Guess when St.Louis went from thriving city to white flight and crime cess pool.

We can fix this.
Let the city split and the good side can become its own city and flourish.

The rest we can give to NBR and they can destroy, rape, and pillage the businesses in their city until Triple S foodmarts and liquor stores leave.

MLK would see that we just had a two term black president equipped with a black attorney general, and see all the major cities and police forces run by black people, and consider it mission accomplished. He'd probably wonder what the hell these younger folk are bitching and marching about when all they have to do is reap the benefits he gave his life to obtain.

All you here is business and jobs need to come to NBR and that will fix the crime problem. Who in the hell wants to move a business to a warzone. Maybe stop murdering, robbing, and raping first then talk about economic development.

Remember the development of the old Entergy property they were trying to push through?

Well, that was rejected because it didn't include section 8. Tara Wicker essentially said that no development is better than development without section 8.

These are the people who say we need to trust them to turn the city around.

Cut through all that BS and just reply that she (Chauna) and the rest of the MC and the Mayor are responsible for the ills of NBR. After all, aren't they in a position to commit change?
