I feel this is EXACTLY what a mayor should do.

It's like she has no clue what words actually mean.

People of her ilk are a cancer, a festering wound on the streets of this city.

And that gangrenous mass needs to be cut off, for the good of the rest. Scoured, cut off and burned.

She has to blame somebody for the lack of investment in her district, otherwise her constituents might actually hold her accountable and vote her out.

Oh wait, what am I saying? Nvm

That's pretty awesome to say that lol

I've read it over and over and still can't believe it. Amazing.

I, too, read it repeatedly thinking that surely that is NOT what she meant. BUT NO!! She did indeed. The fact that this mindset is pandered to, taken seriously, and considered somehow honorable is simply infuriating.

we need a counter or a chart showing "Dumb things NBR folk do or say" vs "Tax Payers from BR leaving BR".

this shite is mothafrickin incredible. "People of NBR, it's the white tax payer's fault we sooo poooor. we has to vote in leadership and hold our leadership accountable that they will in return: up the taxes on de white man in EBR, so we can pay for more bidnesses and investment in NBR. Since it is dey fault we is poor"

it is painful to hear this woman speak, argue, or propose anything at the EBR Council Meetings. How she got the Advocate to publish her non-sense is beyond me.
I bet the editor spent an hour fixing spelling and grammar errors.
