I watched it from the start cause I had to see what Dennis was doing.

It's good. He's basically a less psychotic Dennis in a classroom setting. The supporting cast is solid too.

I dont need you to tell me anything? Chase has paid me quite a nice chunk of change with their rewards. They're still thieves. I don't see the confusion here.

He's funny. He's really good in TV too. He's great in AP Bio and was good recurring in parks and rec.

He's just insufferable in real life.

Yep, just like most of Hollywood

Won't stop me from enjoying entertainment. I'm not trying to be friends with any of these weirdos.

Yes, it's all the fault of banks.

90% of people are shitty with money. Chase bank is absolutely right and frick the idiots who criticize that.

Yeah that's why I laugh at people who don't watch things because of the actors' personal views. It's silly.

Bunch of people got triggered by the truth.

I know a few people exactly like Chase's tweet poked fun at. Quick to complain about being broke...but they always have a Starbucks cup in their car's cup holder, their Snapchat story for the past week has been pics of their food at a different restaurant every day, go out multiple nights a week and ordering top shelf liquor. But they're broke

The completely tone deaf part. It's not the message, it's the messenger. Chase has zero high horse in this matter.

Give a man a gun and he can rob a bank. Give a man a bank and he can rob the world.

Just curious, when were you born? Were you in elementary school or middle school during this time?

JPM was not about to go bankrupt. Do your research. They were basically force to take the bailout.

This was also right after they agreed to help the FOMC out by buying Bear Stearns.

They were all in bed together. Read the article I posted. They were doing the same subprime bullshite the others were doing. They just had more cash on hand.

If the other banks had gone down, Chase would have fallen too because they all held each others investments.

The sad thing is they're doing it again as I type this. It's going to happen again.

1. I’m not sure that is a fact, and you aren’t either.

2. They received a loan from the federal government which they paid back.

Would it have been tone deaf if they told their customers to pay back their loans rather than try to discourage the type of spending to have to take a loan in the first place?

If you ever want to piss off a young person, just mention anything about responsibility and they freaking lose their minds.

You have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

you said that they were "about to go bankrupt" yet you could not have been further from the truth.

Chase did some subprime but were much less active than most other banks.
Their numbers look higher because they bought Bear which did a ton of that stuff. Bear was probably the most active in the sector.

Yeah, it is. Read what I posted. I would rather them just STFU and worry about their own ethics than trying to lecture their customers. Like I said, they have no moral high ground here.

What's ironic about this thread and people bitching about the banks almost going bankrupt is it happened because they loaned money to people who.... couldn't manage their money.
