A lot of the softer generation (and quite a few famous actors, authors, and millionaires) took offense to this tweet. I personally don’t see the big deal. It’s called personal responsibility and spending money you have on the things you can afford; not the things you think you deserve. Chase of course apologized and deleted the tweet.

quote:

Patton Oswalt - Oh my God frick you @Chase bank

quote:

Stephen King - It's beautiful, isn't it? Trump and all his corporate pals. What they've done to the economy is the equivalent of doping a racehorse. It wins, then drops dead.

quote:

Elizabeth Warren - .@Chase: why aren’t customers saving money? Taxpayers: we lost our jobs/homes/savings but gave you a $25b bailout Workers: employers don’t pay living wages Economists: rising costs + stagnant wages = 0 savings Chase: guess we’ll never know Everyone: seriously? #MoneyMotivation

A few people are offended by everything. Stop paying attention to them and they'll go away.

I think that's hilarious. Why does no one have a sense of humor anymore?

Ehhhh....taxpayers gave Chase a $25 billion dollar bailout. Whoever is in charge of their twitter needs a long vacation.

God forbid people have personal accountability. This is exactly what needs to be taught in schools instead of algebra 2

Along with mentioning Chase's fees which can often take advantage of its struggling customers, many were quick to point out that the Federal Reserve had to bail out JPMorgan Chase in 2008 to the tune of $25 billion.

Maybe they should have made their coffee at home.

Remind me again how much money Chase took from taxpayers after shitty/fraudulent investment decisions that helped tank the economy...

That's the reason for the deserved backlash.

Remember when their stock fell from $48 to $15 because all the banks were not responsible with money. I remember.

Well when those 6 people include people with millions of followers, it’s becomes a “bigger” outrage.

I was terrible with my money up until my late 20’s. I love this tweet. Just have to learn the hard way sometimes. Patton is such a pussy.

What a great tweet.

The offended folks are just sad with how true it is.

Is the message they are trying to convey not on point?

No it doesn't. No one here would've heard about it if not for you posting it.

I don't think Trump and Dimon are buddies.
