Is this where I'm supposed to be outraged about what a satirical French magazine has to say about Harvey?

I just find it interesting they think Texas is chock full of Neo Nazis, and that their misery is somehow beneficial to someone.

It's definitely a provocative take, but they clearly didn't do any research. Houston is a "blue" area of Texas and a city with over half the population listed as "non-white," I believe.

It's dumb "satire" or whatever they'll claim it to be.

In the next edition will they publish photos of these Neo Nazis who drowned in the storm?

It will be interesting to see everyone who backed them for the Mohammed thing now bash them for this.

You're equating drawing a religious cartoon with a natural disaster that has killed people?

Does anyone know what the magazine actually says about the floods or is it just a cover with no story?

You have to understand that a good chunk of Europe thinks the US is exactly like the media and Hollywood portrays it.

The ones that actually come here to visit are usually quite shocked.

Yeah. My only response to this stupidness is...

I'm laughing at you French turds, not with you.

Well aware.

Studied in France and Austria, and visited all over several times.

They often think we're drunk, dumb, cowboys. Unfortunately, I have helped perpetuate the drunk part a few times.

Yeah it does seem like they're lumping in Charlottesville with Houston for this.

ETA:

You can lay France down 3 times in between Houston and Charlottesville. That's how far away these places are.

And Houston is the most diverse city in America (and thus I would imagine at least Top 5 in the world).

This would be like some stormfront rag posting a bunch of Frozen black people after some major blizzard hit Maine.

It just goes to show how far the leftists have taken this bogeyman.

They are both cartoons. Car-toons.

They are trying to be offensive. Its what they do. Move on.

don't think there was any big Nazi-rally, or any kind of rally, going on in Texas at the moment.

In the mind of a leftist, wherever two or more white people gather, there is a Nazis rally.

Houston is like 25% white, 25% black, 40% Hispanic, and 10% Asian and everything else.

The surrounding metro area suburbs are very white. But the bast majority of these white people in Houston aren't some backwards rednecks. They are either wealthy whites in the rich areas on the Westside, young professionals, or middle and upper middle class families in the suburbs.

To act like Houston is full of neo-Nazis is a bizarre characterization.

They are just assuming/implying that all Americans are neo nazis.

An analogous sort of thing for them to make a cartoon about would be showing a family getting bombed in Syria and saying that they deserved it because all people in Syria are terrorists.

Just seems like a line that shouldn't be crossed to me, but I guess their thing is that there are no uncrossable lines.
