The new issue of inflammatory French magazine Charlie Hebdo appears to mock the death and utter devastation wrought by Tropical Storm Harvey.

“God Exists! He Drowned All the Neo-Nazis of Texas,” the weekly mag’s cover screams.

An illustration of half-submerged swastika flags and arms giving the Nazi salute accompanies the headline.

Isn't this the newspaper office that got shot up a few years ago? Not exactly hard to see why with these type of hot takes

It will be interesting to see everyone who backed them for the Mohammed thing now bash them for this.

They do this because they know the "neo-Nazis" aren't going to come shoot up their offices.

Yes, it is hard to see why.

Its freedom of speech and expression. It should absolutely be hard to see why people would murder others over that.

Aren't you the one that brought up the Theory of Evolution as the cause of racism in the Ole Miss greek thread?

That's what Charlie Hebdo does, they are juvenile Leftist provocateurs. Imagine their glee when they get to roast Murca, Texas, rednecks, Nazis , God, Republicans etc all at the same time.

Oh I fully support their right to publish this. It just seems kind of stupid. I don't think there was any big Nazi-rally, or any kind of rally, going on in Texas at the moment.

Is this where I'm supposed to be outraged about what a satirical French magazine has to say about Harvey?

I'm pretty amazed at how clueless people are about Houston.

Acting like it's some white trash neo-Nazi Mecca. It's bizarre.

Damn, I guess that's what Hebdo is all about, but that's really fricking poor taste.

Yeah, it is a weak take. Surely they could have been more creative.

Yeah it does seem like they're lumping in Charlottesville with Houston for this.

Which, to some familiar with the geography and cultures of the United States, is fricking ridiculous.

ETA:

You can lay France down 3 times in between Houston and Charlottesville. That's how far away these places are.
