The best park in the country keeps on bringing the heat. I figured they'd have a year off after all the new stuff in the past 5 years. Its going where the Mean Streak used to be I believe.

Mean Streak was a cool ride as it was without a line.

Loved the Mean Streak but couldn't ride it without having a headache after it was over. Always heard they were gonna shut it down, but this was back in the late 90's.

This looks like the same coaster, just with a better track and screws and shite. Hope to make it back up to Cedar Point one day. Nothing like it.

Is there a time to go when it isn't packed as shite? An off season but all the rides are open?

They actually have the park open pretty well into the Fall, I imagine its a lot better then. Saturdays in October they're open 11AM-12PM and a lot of the coasters run during the night.

Friend owns the jet ski/parasail place on the Boardwalk going to Breakers. Worked there with him one summer...that Top Thrill Dragster..I watched at least 50 times not have enough momentum to crest and come back down backwards from 400 ft. frick all that.

The Eastern Europe poon that came into work there during the summer was top notch fun.

I rode the Mako at Seaworld Orlando, and it is very close to these numbers. It was a 200 ft drop and goes in the neighborhood of 70 something mph. On the initial drop, you are so high up that you feel weightless coming down whether you're holding your hands up or not.

Fury at Carowinds is crazy. What is the official definition of a "hybrid coaster"? Is it part steel and part wood or something? I know fury is over 300' tall and goes 95 mph, and is still not the tallest or fastest.
