One thing I havent seen but I know I've seen the aftermath of is a water spout. I know they happen out on the lake.

they're generally pretty weak so I wouldn't think it'd cause much if any damage to the bridge (esp. considering there are videos of people stupidly navigating boats through them)

but I sure as hell wouldn't want to be caught on the Causeway with 1 nearby

I could compare this cell to something out of a tropical storm... watching the rain move side to side instead of just down

The last 10 mikes or so was rough. Was doing 45 and passing others

I just came in from Carrolton driving to Kenner, it was really bad around the NOLA metairie line and to Clearview.

I don't know who is worse in heavy rain, the idiots who never turn on their lights (state lay lights on when it's raining)
or the idiots with the emergency flashers on, but still driving.

they both have a special place in hell along w/ people who do 50 in the left lane on the interstate
