Maybe not in Louisiana, but free are pretty overpopulated in other areas of the south, especially Mississippi.

There's a guy in loranger who takes in fawns that were abandoned and rehabs them, but idk if the road is passable to him, if you help it and it survives the night let me know and I'll get you in touch with him if I can.
