Cook some rice may sound like a joke but really you're better off euthanizing it.

My uncle had a three deer in a big pen on a few acres. IIRC, he fed them sweet potatoes every now and then as treats as well as other veggies. Idk if said deer has teeth yet though

You can dry it off and bottle feed it if it's a very young fawn. If it's older, it will likely be very stressed and will die. LDWF is too busy working with other things to worry about a deer.
Best thing is probably just to let it be.

well, the answer from wildlife an fisheries would be to tell you to release it and let nature run its course.
I would personally go to the coop and get a baby bottle and then feed it warmed whole milk if you can find it...

you could try bottle feeding but really what you have there is veal
I would tell your kids to go to there room and dispatch it
or just let it go

You will Have to rub its arse with a warm wet rag to make it use the bathroom.

You just killed that deer. Momma won't touch it anymore. Congrats. She was probably watching.
You should've deferred to Charles Darwin on this matter.

I saved one that had fallen into deep cable trench. Bottle fed him until he could eat solids. Fed him sliced apples, lettuce and honey suckle after that and he would eat most anything a goat will eat as its gets older.
Here's the kicker. If it doesn't go to the bathroom it can get compacted quickly. You have to dab a warm water rag/sponge or whatever on its arse so it will go. Or just lick it like its mother would do. I opted for the rag but that's just me. Good luck.
