This is the second time it’s happened. I was unicorns to a birthday party in Austin bc I wasn’t “vaccinated”... I said whoa there lady... what effect dies my vaccination syllabus have on you? Any one of your 59 guests vaxxed or unvaxxed can spread this to you.. so what’s the deal here woman? Obviously she had no good answer

I don’t ask to see the medical history of every patron whenever I walk in a public place it’s not my business and neither is it yours. It’s called personal responsibility if I am sick I don’t go out end of discussion.

-I get there being a concern about long run vulnerabilities generated by a new vaccine technology
-I don’t get the lack of concern about long run vulnerabilities generated by a new, probably genetically modified disease
I get that the survival rate of covid is high. The survival rate of the vaccine is higher. I get that it is impossible to disprove long run risks of the vaccines. Disproving the long run risks of covid is equally impossible.
Why does the discussion with y’all always resort to a 99.9% survival rate of the disease, but then you don’t likewise default to a 99.999% survival rate of the vaccine? Why does the discussion with y’all always resort to ‘we don’t know the long run risks of the vaccine’, but then you don’t likewise to default to ‘we don’t know the long run risks of covid’? Just pick a lane and stick to it.
Now all that said, do whatever you want, I don’t care. But the double standard on your risk tolerance across these two paths is just so dumbfounding. And I understand people who don’t want to spend time around you because of it.
