Grew up in the 90s. Thinking the 70s had to be better.

I played youth basketball, t-ball and little league in the 90's and our team was always awful. But we got a trophy every year. I never understood why.

It's funny because in the 90s all I ever heard from adults was how shitty the new generation was and how Clinton getting a BJ in office showed how the moral decline of our country had destroyed us.

Every generation says "Get off my lawn" and "You don't know how tough it was" and "These young kids nowadays ain't worth a flip..." etc.

The ten year-olds of today will say it about the kids born in the 2030s.

PS: Get off my lawn.

The 60s and 70s were pretty good to grow up in.

Yes, we absolutely did. But I guess you just remember what you want.

I was born in 81. I feel like being born about 5 years earlier would've been the most awesome childhood/teenage combo. It must've been amazing to be a kid when video games and things were first starting to hit.

1990s was solid entertainment and a cool time to grow up.

Cool video games.
Solid baseball rec leagues in my town
Real SUVs
OJ Simpson murder
Grunge rock (step backward)
Good economy
Very few snowflakes and SJWs
LSU baseball was consistently awesome
LA Riots
9/11 had not yet happened

I missed the 80s...or at least I was too young to really experience it. Growing up in SoLa, I know times were pretty tough for my family until probably '92 so.

Being born in the mid 70s seemed awesome. Kid in the 80s. High school and college in 90s. Best music. Great competition. No travel ball. Lol. Good times. No cell phones until college. No evidence.

90s were not a bad time to grow up. No smart phones.

NFL, NBA, college basketball were all better.

Economy was good and no major disasters.

I joined the Army in summer 2001 then 9/11 happened and it's been a different world ever since.

Travel ball was only barely starting to get popular in my area in the 1990s.

Music took a step backward with the invention of Grunge.
That was just a few bands, and they were pretty good anyway. But "grunge" was far from the only kind of music that was being made then.

90's music was great, and leaps and bounds better than the almost 100% teeny-pop crap we have today. But, you can blame us (gen x) for that, since we invented file sharing and now the only shite that sees mass exposure is safe, formulaic pop music.

80's were better, though, all things considered. I agree with that.

I was a teenager in the early 30s and it was pretty cool. People growing up in the 40s were a bunch of pussies. Don't even get me started on teens in the 50s.
