You have no frame of reference for this comment because I remember Biloxi before the casinos when all the fish factories were at the foot of the bridge where casino row was built.

It really smelled bad then.

OS is the answer to this thread anyways if not casino related.

Ship island offers a better beach. Just enjoy the empty beaches and maybe catch a show

Thx Cork. Patio 44 was good for brunch. OS has pretty much been the go to for us thus far. Haven't done chandelier brewing or blind tiger yet. Was gonna try Biloxi brewing later this afternoon for a tour. Mainly looking for decent food and maybe music without so much of the trashy elements. How spread out is OS outside of the concentrated group of restaurants and bars at Govt street? Worth venturing out a little, say on a bike?

well, i do get to sit on my back porch and watch boaters go by. some trashy, some not.

i wouldn't say my neighborhood is trashy though. few miles up river, sure. few miles inland, of course.

not nearly as trashy as your trailer park i would assume.

You just came across as jealous in a roundabout way, that's all.

People are on bikes all the time on government but it's not worth venturing out too far. All the good stuff is right there on government. There's also a place, paddles up on government, that rents paddle boards. Pretty sure they still rent--I know they sell.

Get some Tato nut donuts. No matter how long the line is, they are worth it. Persian, chocolate, and blueberry are the best.

Here's my offering. Went a few years back and stayed at Treasure Island/Bay something. It was nice. Wasn't a big fan of the beach but they've cleaned it up since then (we stopped by last summer on the way home). We ate buffet at the casino and they had great crab legs.

Ole Biloxi Schooner has THE BEST oyster po boy and some awesome gumbo. Much better than any place I've tried in N.O.

Replies are pointing you the wrong way. For out-of-town fun head east to Mobile and points beyond.
