I don’t personally but I have a few people I work with that does that all the time. Any tire shop would do it. If it be me, it’d pick a small local shop to throw them a bone. Help out the little guys

Just go get them at McDonald’s Tire, Florida at Sharp and it will cost less than going through the hassles.

I've done it a few times then a shop locally told me if I found them cheaper and gave them the SKU number they would order for me and install for $20 off. They obviously get a large discount in order to offer me that.

I ordered a set on line and went to a local guy to have them mounted. He said he wouldnt do it unless he sold them to me. He then said the least he would do it for was $300.

He wasnt happy that I didnt buy them from him. I got it done down the road for $100.

If you watch Amazon and have time, tire prices fluctuate greatly. You can save a lot of money if you catch them on a day there is a low price.

That place on Essen is a "preferred installer" for discountturedirect and will do it no hassle. I have done several sets there. But last time I was going to have them replace a TPS sensor as well when they had the tire off. I bought the sensor online as it was half as much as I was quoted locally. The guy told me it was $90 to install it. I asked if he was kidding as it takes two seconds to screw it in place. He said that was true but then they have to sync it to the cars system and that took time and expertise.

I had already Googled the process and said "you mean where you turn the car off and then back on while holding down that other button on the dash?" (I can't remember the exact sequence but it involved cycling the car on and off and holding I think the high beam control or something like that.). The guy just smiled and said "yeah you got me. Most people don't know that." Last time I used them. I can't give business to a place I know screws people.

Try SimpleTire.com. They pull from inventory all over the US and had tires every other site and the manufacturer said had a nation-wide back order. Best price, too, in my case.

It was a bit of a pain back before the progs wrecked the workforce. Now? For the money you save versus what your time should be worth, nope.

Actually, I just bought some tires off of tirerack.com on the 28th. They’ll be delivered to the Firestone a mile from my house tomorrow.

Tirerack.com gives you a list of “preferred installers“ around you and gives an estimate on what it will cost you to have them mounted and balanced there.
