Any of you business owners here ever worked with a marketing and branding expert? Just curious if you saw payoff while growing your business and trying to gain a market awareness. I'm talking about small business 2 employees >200k a year, service industry.

Ad agency creative director here. At your level, why not send out e-blasts, maybe once every two weeks over a 4-6 week period and see what happens.

I say e-blasts because they're super cheap, plus you can control your mailing list and get precise numbers on your responses.

Anyway, at your size I wouldn't do any paid advertising, that's obvious.

What's e-blast? It works for local advertising?

Promotional messages you send out via e-mail. Google e-blast advertising and you'll probably get a look at some examples.

Use Xdesign in Baton Rouge. They are worth their weight in gold for our company.

local to br for sure. typical for my industry is landing pages and a drip funnel system, however i suck at the creative part. im excellent at the service we offer, but not so much on portraying my message.

What industry specifically? Depending on what you are doing, branding may not be right for your size. A lot of marketing firms can brand someone but are they going to make your phone ring or new create sales opportunities. For your marketing strategy, you should probably be focused on inbound marketing given your size and revenue. I might have some thoughts based on what specific service you are providing.

I can help you. Seriously. We'll start with a 6-mo contract.

That said, it would require you being willing to pay me a % of all new business that comes in within said 6-mo. We can then renegotiate a new contract after the initial 6-months.

Let me know if you're interested.
