No club or ball is going to make you better. Even the most advanced top of the line club can only do what the golfer tells it to do. If you want to spend money on getting better, find a good golf pro and give that money to them in return for them giving you lessons.

Yea, I'm not helping you. You come here for advice, then willingly lie to people trying to help.
These are about $25. This is my only recommendation. Buy this to replace your backwards flatbill.

Poor overly sensitive fool, I've been playing golf since you were still shitting your diapers. And I'm actually trying to help you.

Guys...you gotta remember the OP said "I average 315 yards off the tee".
He never said if it was in the fairway or not!

I just ordered Ping i20 driver, 3wd and hybrid, along with G20 4-UW, 56 and 62 degree vokey wedges, Odyssey White Hot pro putter, and a Ping Traverse bag.
You'll need well over $1000 to do a full bag overhaul. All my stuff is last year models and still a good bit over $1000.
Don't forget a rape whistle for your playing partners.

If you are driving 220 and your putting sucks, you are not a scratch golfer.
Not unless he is Steve Stricker with iron play.

How is actual "driving distance" determined anyway?
Is it measured from where the ball lands, or where it stops rolling?

But that would be $1000 thrown to the hogs and tell "suey" if he thinks those clubs alone will do anything to improve his game. Lessons from a pro... That's the only thing that will really improve his game from what I've heard him say this far.

Driving distance is determined from the tee you're using to where the ball comes to rest.

you are a fricking genius!!!!!!! i thought i was gonna buy a new driver and it was gonna swing itself!!!!

Ping G25s may be the most well rounded iron out. They'll benefit most players. If you want to drop down in price, you won't lose too much in playing G20s.
I like Adams hybrids and I think the Adams Super S fairway woods can be a shot in the arm to a lot of struggling players.
The Ping K15 driver is the easiest-to-hit-straight driver of all time and can be had for 150 bucks.
Putters are way too subjective

In that case, and using Trillonometry, I have a 326.5 yard drive....

better equipment can take a few strokes off his game... More forgiving irons, and a fitted driver can do wonders for an average golfer's game
but if hes looking for a 98 to 85 answer, hes looking in the wrong place.
