I've had the same golf stuff forever and i want to completely upgrade.
right now i have nike slingshots from 10 years ago, and old Taylor made R5 with various taylor made woods, nike wedge, and a ping putter. and a razorback bag.
I don't really have a budget , but i only play golf here and there so i don't want to go crazy. Also i'm not very good putter so it kills my game, but i average 315 yards off the tee.

Some people like complete sets though I never do that. I'm interested in this thread bc all my stuff is dated.

to be fair, he said average, so he must his the occasional 285er, only to be offset by the 345ers with the same frequency.

yeah i don't want to just buy a complete set usually the jip you on something, i'd like to walk into the gold store with a wish list and just get it all at once. problem is i'm not around golf enough to know what's the hottest equipemnt. and all my stuff is just old and crusty now.

Hope you're willing to spend at least $1000.

No you don't. You need a reality check before you spend any money, or you'll force yourself into getting the wrong stuff.
ETA: you got a handicap?

So, your driving distance average is higher than every PGA tour professional this year.
Navigate to "Off the Tee"
That's awesome!!! YAY!!!

go to your local golf supply store (dicks, academy, golfsmith, etc.) an hit a few different clubs and find the ones you like.
then go on ebay and buy a used set for $200. just make sure the specs are correct for you (stiff flex shafts or what you hit)
you can do the same with fairway woods and drivers as well.
i'm partial to ping irons and the i20 is a great club. very forgiving but gives you the ability to work the ball if you want.
its crazy how cheap you can pick up a used set that are only a year old

Yet you average 315 off the tee, a distance averaged by a total of 7 PGA tour members since 2008, you know...the ones with most cutting edge equipment, the ones that spend every day hitting hundreds of balls, the ones that make money on the sport.
But you...YOU just walk up whenever the mood suits you and average more than those guys.

If you are driving 220 and your putting sucks, you are not a scratch golfer.
Anything else you want to make up?

I can't help you without a good indication of your play.
