it would be nice if there was a concinses on 2-3 models of the different clubs that everybody loved and you could go just test out those.

TM is extremely good....but this post is ridiculous

In your opinion but every manufacturer has been trying to get to TM's level since TM made the first metal driver just like every forged iron manufacturer has been trying to get to Mizuno's level....these are facts.

Everyone is different...what works for 1 10 handicapper won't work for the next one.

I completely understand but this is the ONLY way I buy clubs.

Yea, but maybe do 3-5 at a time so they don't all get jumbled together when trying to remember the pros and cons of each. And avoid being "that guy".

You won't get that. But there are some uber-popular irons that a lot of people like, like the G25, or the Mizuno JPX 825 or EZ, Titleist AP1s, etc that may give you a good list to start with.

i'm terrible i usually get 8 strokes with my friends when we play, my driver is bad, my low irons are bad, from 6-9 iron i'm pretty good, my wedge is fairly good, i'm a lucky putter sometimes. But i have a lot more time now so i'd like to get serious about some golf.

They're out there. G25s are huge sellers, as are the i25s. But for weekend warriors like most of us, it's still cooler to bag Mizunos or Titleists even if they aren't the best fit. I'm not immune, I've done it.

Weave gave you the best advice in here. You don't need new clubs yet most likely. You should spend your money where you'll get the most bang for your buck. Let's play a round and I'll let you borrow my expensive clubs and I'll play with your set and then you can see where your money would be better spent.

Trillhog all bullshite aside. In my prime you couldn't come within 40 yards of my driver.

I used to play an integra so long with a xx penley shaft. My club head speed with driver was 145-153 and a good drive for me was 340 and my longest drive was 385 at PSGC with three other witnesses.

get some game improvement irons if they are one of your weaknesses, and if you don't like long irons, get a 5-pw set and get a 3 and 4 hybrid instead of long irons

driver really doesnt matter at your level....they are all about the same once you get used to one (i recommend the RBZ again, simply for value)

This tells us nothing. What do you usually shoot? How far do you hit a 6 iron. How many putts per round? How often do you play?
