I saw this pop up on page 1, and thought there might have been some news.
Meanwhile, they are building 1 in Mobile and 1 at 10/Baldwin Express. As well as two in florida. They are running right past LA.

Millerville was the perfect spot. They could have done O’Neil and torn down the old Wendy’s and Lonestar.

The one at I-10 and the Foley Beach Express is coming along pretty quickly. The main building and the brick pillars for all the canopies over all the gas pumps are already up. It's far enough along now to where you get an appreciation for just how frickin huge size wise the place is going to be. Looks like it's officially now going to be the first location to open outside the state of Texas.
I don't see how there's anywhere near enough available space for a location at I-65 and Springhill in Mobile.

There seems to be some serious infrastructure work happening at the suggested site in Laffy. This might be more than just a rumor.
