Gross in my opinion, but I think it's something to do in the confines of a bathroom at home.

My GF will come out into the living room and do it while I'm eating lunch or something, and I find that disgusting too. Maybe I'm weird.

I make a shirt mask every time I go in a public bathroom. Thus, I would not be able to access my mouth for a brushing.

I have no beef with anybody else doing it, but I couldn't bring myself to do it especially if someone in a stall is taking a dump. Not sure if I could control the gag reflex.

If you don't want to brush your teeth after drinking coffee, fine. But I don't see how it's unprofessional / disgusting.

I do it all the time. You breath when you walk in to a bathroom with people taking a dump don't you? so the shite particles are floating up your nose, getting on your skin, eyes and hair already. What difference is a little more in your mouth gonna make?

You're eating shite either way might as well taste minty fresh.

Because you're a "jump to conclusions" mat.

Lots of engineers and other detail-oriented professionals aka "ocd frickers" brush after every meal, in bathroom or office trashcan. We have several around here.

My cubical is right next to the women's restroom. Every morning and every day after lunch, this woman goes into the bathroom with a flattening iron and a case of makeup, spends about 30 minutes, and comes walking out looking like she is preparing for a Zoolander fashion show.

Now that in my opinion is more weird.

I have a toothbrush and toothpaste in my desk in case I am running late to work or just in case I need to brush my teeth. It's not a normal occurrence but I do it from time to time.

Yup. The mint will counteract the bad smell and will likely purge a few poop smell particles when you spit.

I haven't personally brushed at work for a few years, except for a couple times when I've had to spend all night at work and haven't had a chance to go home. But I don't care at all one way or the other what other people are doing in the bathroom. It doesn't bother me if I want to brush my teeth and it doesn't bother me if others do... I'd guess Marine bootcamp some 20 years ago rid me of any such concerns: when 50 or 60 dudes have to share a bathroom with limited stalls that don't have doors-- and you only have a minute or two to take care of business-- you kind of stop being squeamish and just take care of business.

At least you don't have someone brushing their teeth while taking a shite when there's no dividers between the toilet, urinal, and sink.

There's a couple of guys in my office that are always brushing their teeth. They are also smokers so I just figured that's why.

I still think it's weird. I need privacy to brush my teeth. Doing it in the work bathroom next to people coming and going seems awkward.
