That cop should be held down and the kid should be able to pummel his face as payback. All those cops are pussies.

The problem is that some of these officers think physical resisting justifies any other actions down the road. If the kid punched an officer to start the altercation, then tackling him and subduing him is justified, but punching him even once is a problem.

Yep. I am sure the kid did something worthy of getting arrested. But once he is on the ground, with 5 officers surrounding him, punching him hard as you can in the face and side of the head is ridiculous.

Ehh, I tend to disagree here. Many of these arrests stem from someone getting grabbed by an officer and that person then making a big deal as to why they are being grabbed. That devolves into handcuffs.
