I dont think you understand how the criminal justice system works. He resigned during the investigation.
A grand Jury later indicted all 3. So they will be arrested and have a trial now.
Either BRPD didnt have enough evidence to arrest him or they handed the case over to the DA's office, not really sure. Either way, its getting handled.

What was the reasoning by the cops on why they needed to search? Because one of their own had already brought it to their attention, but he was a cop, and this guy wasnt.

My premise was always that this issue (officer conduct) was a systemic problem in the BRPD.
Instead of agreeing with the obvious, you chose to derail it and make it just about "these three rouge officers".
And it's 'rogue' not 'rouge.' And by you referring to them as 'rogue' (I've never used that term) you are admitting they are the exception not the norm, which I think is the case.
So that means YOU are the one backpedaling. Or you're just truly butt hurt about our exchange of posts last week and you're trying to compensate for it.

That is on end the most stupid, arse backwards, ridiculous articles I've ever read and I can't believe the police happily openly admitted they don't give a shite about laziness or work ethic as long as said behavior is never reported to anyone. Then they attack the reporting officer.

It's pretty obvious the BRPD is policing themselves ok. If they weren't they would have covered this up but they didn't. They investigated it and brought it to the DA'S office for prosecution and he submitted it to a grand jury who found that these 3 dumb assess needed to be tried.
All three of them no longer work for BRPD, all three have been indicted and arrested and the indictments are felony charges with possible prison time up to 5 years according to the newspaper article on the story.
If the Drama Queens in this thread real complaint is the charges did not include forcible rape, then all the victim has to do is tell the DA the perp used force and/or threats of force and I have no doubt that the DA will amend the charges to include forcible rape. She would not have to go to the police to amend her statement, just to the DA's office.

By "buds" I meant the BRPD as a whole, because of your defense of them in the other thread.
