Brown shoes with jeans/chinos

I need to get rid of these old boots and can't decide if I want a new pair (nicer) of Ariats like the ones pictured or something less bulky.
I think I like the second pair, just not sure if I can pull them off.

Pic 2 are good looking. Fall to winter IMO but I have 2 pair similar. One suede and one as pictured.
But you know what? Do you. Buy what YOU like. It's perfectly ok.

I like the second shoe and would wear them. I would probably wear any of those, but I like the second ones the most.

I like pic two the best but wear boots similar to what you have posted the most.
