Yeah, I've found that people who grew up in California tend not to like New Orleans, and those who are used to big cities don't like the comparatively small town feel of NOLA. I don't know what it is, but you'd think celebrities would like it, since traditionally, New Orleans people go out of their way not to fawn over them.

Honestly, I didn't love living there either. The houses are all old and dirty, and the Quarter smells like pee. And every time some a-hole felt the need to mention which NOLA hospital he was born at, I wanted to punch him in the face.

Smart investment but that doesn't look like a 3 story building.

Disagree. Often see inside pics of big money houses
It isnt about being big money. It is about prestige. This is a unique classic french quarter house. They arent going to show pictures of the inside on keller-williams Magazines pay HUGE money to get those spreads

I'm relieved to hear that they are selling the place, Angelina kept coming next door to my place, banging on the door at 2:00 am begging for sex.

I can finally get some uninterrupted sleep while I'm in NOLA.

People have been saying that the Quarter smells like pee for 100's of years. And it doesn't surprise me to hear that she gets bored there. As I said, city people tend not to like its smaller town feel.

That's not the comment that shows your ignorance and your reply only hurt your case.

Man with the zoo and the IMAX and the rides at City Park I don't see how she could get bored.

My guess is they saw what happened in Baltimore and don't want to be stuck in N.O. when it happens there. It's smart because once it happens there they will have to stay and be involved, which they want no part of, or they will take a huge PR hit.

Plenty of prestigious/expensive places have had photos posted on typical sites.

This may be the best home in NOLA:

This one is well regarded and nearly as expensive, though not as much to my liking:

I find that NYC people love it. Everything is cheap as shite comparatively and they all say it "has a vibe to it". Some of them are pretty condescending but they still like it here.

Well, it's hard to squeeze objectivity out of a dude who calls himself "MightyYat," but since I don't have $6 mil. to spend on a house, my options are old and gross or live in Lafayette. Or was it the comment about pretentious "authentic New Orleanians" that you objected to?

Yeah, you can only smoke weed and ride the trolley up and down St. Charles so many times.

Sometimes I feel if you don't pay taxes you shouldn't vote on taxes and if you don't own property you shouldn't be able to vote on property issues. NOLA needs revenue though, I would like to know where what is collected goes.

You can't see the third story from the angle. There are two windows on the front of the third story.

Pitt loves New Orleans but now that it's been mentioned I've never heard of anyone ever encountering Angelina or her being present really at anything in or around the city. Although as someone said we don't go out of our way to fawn all over celebrities here, it is not that big of a city and probably seems pretty claustrophobic to most of these stars after a while.

Don't blame them. The idiots in the city voted for every property tax increase on the ballot the other day. Stupid stupid stupid asses. But you know what, 80% of the people that voted don't even own property so what does it matter to them.

Well....if a rental property owners monthly housing payment goes up don't you think they are going to pass that on to the renter?

It's no secret that Angelena hates New Orleans.
Never heard this, but I didn't think they spent enough time there to hate it that much. I thought they "resided" there for the tax breaks.

You've twice mentioned them getting tax breaks for living in N.O. What breaks do they get?
