There have been episodes of "difficult" weather over the last 31 years of "The St. Patrick's Day Parade, The Wearin' of the Green." I remember a "snow event" on a Friday evening before the parade and the risk of a "wash-out" for another... On that episode, we awoke to clearing skies, breezy and cool. Archbishop Hughes was with us that morning to begin and bless the parade and safety for all. He turned to me and said "Pat, remember... when it comes to weather, you are in SALES NOT MANAGEMENT." Those marvelous MANAGEMENT aspects will be in place this week and weekend in safety and forecasts. In conjunction with our weather Team at WBRZ. we will provide to you each day the Model Expectations and as of this writing, we do anticipate flooding rains and accumulations on Wednesday and Thursday. Lingering showers on Friday and possibly Friday evening. I believe that our worse case scenario could be pre-dawn showers, early Friday morning. clearing into the Mid-Morning and beyond. 76 degrees for the daytime high, 56 degrees for breakfast and 62 for parade start at 10:00 AM.
