$230 per protest and imprisonment doesn't seem like much of a living.

You should go to law school and start representing protesters... apparently that's the way to go.

Who's ready to go protest this settlement? I'm thinking we can end up with about $170 when its all said and done.

you just have to apply yourself. protest several times a day. There's always something to protest if you look for it.

Can somebody help me math here?

$230 x 92 protestors = $21,160

Where is the other 78k going?

Looks like it's time for the working people to take care of these protesters instead of the police.

The Advocate has some good ones

This is merely a slap on the wrist for law enforcement who conducted themselves terribly. The settlement should have been more. Thankfully the City paid for its mistakes. This should be a wake up call.

What does it mean for BR if Sharon Weston-Broom is elected mayor? She has already promised to stir up more shite in the Alton Sterling case and force police to take race sensitivity training. She talks about uniting the city, but she comes off as somewhat of a race baiter.

Those that voted Tuesday evening to approve the settlement in the federal class-action lawsuit are on my piece of shite list.
