Anyone here ever go to The Village?
My family couldn't afford it. I thought it was so fancy that they had parking attendants.

Didee's on North Blvd. best duck in La till the place got shut down in the 70s by race riots.
Sabins on Airline.
Rathskeller downtown by the river on Convention.

There was a great Sicilian pizza place near good wood that served real pizza, no tomato sauce, anchovies and olive oil. Can't remember their name.
And the GOAT in Baton Rouge--cotton Club. Their seafood platter and po boys can't be touched today.
Anybody remember them?

I don’t remember the place as I was only 9 or so but after LSU baseball games my uncle would bring me to a spot to eat and all I remember was stupidly huge cheese sticks.
