Who can name all of the restaurants that were where Omi is today off Essen and I-10?

Did anyone here ever eat at Sambo's? I was in BR during the '80s, but I have no memory of this place AT ALL.
I do recall driving past the one in Biloxi, but we never ate there.

My mom, dad and their friends would go there every Saturday night before LSU football games. And it was always a date night destination for my parents.

There used to be a Pedro's Taco on the opposite corner across from Krispy Kreme
LaFonda's started out in a small building next to Plank Bowl on Airline.
Mirror Steak House was on Airline close to Gibson's discount store and Cy Holly had a music store in that shopping center.
