Had a guy try to dick me on a patio and sod for my backyard this past week.
Showed up to give me an estimate in a beat up arse truck with equipment looking like he couldn't do much high end stuff. Slobby, out of sorts, first business card he gave me was blank, second business card had his website misspelled. The site itself is a 2016 geocities type thing. Says he's been doing it 20 years, has lots of review in the area.
Gives me a good price, 50% up front 50 when finished.
Started looking into him that night, only one review total, it was him on his yelp page. Business address is some random house somewhere. His Facebook says he works at the Golden State Warriors arena, and the pictures of his finishes on his site were taken from other pages on the web.

Douche is an understatement.....he did some work for me when I was his neighbor, then wouldn't put a section of fence back up. So i start to put the fence back up, and he starts some crap with me over the property line. So, I get it surveyed and hire a contractor and his douchebag wife calls the cops on my contractor.
