The article provides evidence of how unlikely it is for this to ever happen, but it is an example of our descent that has truly begun down the slippery slope with this issue. I'm also tired of seeing people say to just ignore them and not give them attention, and they will go away. No, they won't.

In the aftermath of violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, progressive activists nationwide have demanded, and in some cases illegally carried out, the tearing down and removal of statues and monuments to Confederate leaders and soldiers on public space. Now Black Lives Matter activists have gone even further — going so far as to call for a ban on all Confederate imagery — even in private possession. Inspired by Germany’s post-war laws banning any and all Nazi imagery, Black Lives Matter activists on Twitter called for a similar ban on Confederate imagery or memorabilia. “After WWII, Germany outlawed the Nazis, their symbols, salutes & their flags. All confederate flags & statue, & groups should be illegal,” tweeted the Black Lives Matter Chicago Twitter account, @BLMChi.

Similar rhetoric pointing a finger of wrong at any and all Confederate memorabilia came from at least one lawmaker. "Confederate memorabilia have no place in this country and especially not in the United States Capitol," said Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) in a statement to The Hill. The entire Congressional Black Caucus called on Wednesday for the removal of all Confederate-related statues in the nation's Capitol.

There will be Hate Speech laws in our lifetimes, and younger generations will support it.
Book it.

When has this tactic been deployed? I get more updates on BLM and radical left activists from the OT than any other source of news on the planet.

On a second matter, white pride can be used as a term for white people being proud of white heritage, and being proud of who they are. People of color, and most liberals treat it as racism when it truly runs as a two way street in social matters.

They are going too far and this will come crashing down on them if they do not watch out.

BLM and antifa are pro communist. Civil rights mean little to State Socialists.

Thy will try to squeeze this in under the incitement loophole. They claim the n-word is just a dangerous as yelling "fire" in a movie theater.
Not saying they will be successful, but you'll see this idea in the mainstream conversation before long.

Is BLM upset with the black people who sold slaves?

It kinda is. Sometimes I like to pretend that I'm a first year hogwarts student whose only spell is a magic word that controls black people's moods.

I do not like confederate monuments or imagery even one little bit. Piles of dung, IMO.
BUT....
This is some even stupider bullshite from BLM. Per par for that trash organization.
