Complete bullshite that the police supposedly can't do anything about squatters on private property.
Pussification strikes again. Can't be violating the safe space these cretins have creating on ole boy's own property.
frick this earth.

I had an unoccupied house for sale in North LA a couple of years ago. I get a pissed off call from the realtor one day angry that I am trying to rent the house while she is hard at work showing it to buyers.
Long phone conversation full of WTF.
Turns out some dude was running a scam renting vacant homes. He would change the locks, take a deposit and first months rent and disappear. Several homeowners had to formally evict renters who held (bogus) leases.
I was lucky my realtor just happened to see the listing online.

i want to see a debate between these geniuses, some mormons, and sovereign citizens

Moors believe they are the original inhabitants of North America.....
So therefore they believe the land has been stolen from them...
They justify this by some interpretation of the law where they classify themselves as white. To them white and black are not racial identifiers but class identifiers .... it gets confusing to me, but I also know that they don't think the entire "black" population in this country are descendants of slaves and that they were the original inhabitants or Natives.
Before you ask I get emails from one

I'd be more infuriated that the cops whose salary is paid for my taxes aren't doing their fricking jobs:
UPHOLD THE LAW
God damn.....Nola cops are a detriment to that town.

Police said that, because both parties had papers, there was nothing they could do.
Makes sense

It depends on whether they have hung a bunch of signs that say that it's a federal offense for you to unseat them...finders keepers and all.

But they looked so friendly when I held hands with them and sang "If I had a Hammer" at the last Bernie Sanders rally.

They should try this in Jefferson Parish.

If Hines wanted the squatters removed, he said, police told him he would have to file eviction papers, a process that would take more than a week and cost him several hundred dollars. Hines said that he has filed the eviction papers and is now waiting for the time limit for the squatters to contest the ruling to run out, which should be some time this week.
How much bullshite is this?

Well, considering that a structure is considered to be a component part of a corporeal immoveable (real property), that's not a physical possibility unless that structure is a moveable like a trailer or a car.

A friend was one of the victims. He signed a year lease on a home I'd estimate at 275-300K. One day owner shows up with papers and explains what happened. He got booted pretty quickly too.
