I love reading post about NOLA being a joke and a shite hole. Meanwhile try and come down most weekends over the next four months and stay at a hotel.

It's a great place to party but I don't know who would want to live there unless you were a multi-millionaire and totally able to segragrate yourself from the riff-raff

That's not even possible because at some point you have to go outside. My sister lives in a 24 hour live security condo and last week there were shots fired at a parade. Her building takes up an entire city block and shots fired were outside her building.

The fact that you have to get the court involved and go through a court/legal process to get squatters out of your property is a shame.
You should be able to beat them near death for trespassing.
