I would tend to agree. There's a contingent of anti-LSU people in New Orleans that doesn't really exist in BR. Even someone like me who roots for a different NFL team doesn't harbor any ill will towards the Saints.

My gut tells me Saints in BR, but LSU gets lots of love in NOLA. Tough call.
ETA: But yea, there is definitely an anti-LSU establishment floating around NOLA.

I only base this on the fact I have lived in BR my whole life and for the most part the saints fans in BR care much more about LSU than the saints...the saints winning is just lagniappe

After living in Nola for the last 6 years I would go with more support of Saints in BR. People in Nola don't seem to care about LSU that much unless we are a top 5 team.

Despite the LSU hater population that resides in Nola, I still say Nola has more LSU fans than BR has Saints fans.
I was at LSU during the 2010 Super Bowl season and it was very hard to find Saints merchandise in BR compared to Nola.

Easily LSU fans in NOLA. When the Saints struggle, the Cowboy fans are easily out of the woodwork. My mom even had an Emmitt Smith jersey once. She has some Saints gear now.

LSU in NOLA, and it's not even close. Trying to watch the Saints in BR is a fricking joke. There are two dozen bars in NOLA you can go to and watch LSU in a solid environment. I haven't found a single place in BR where you can watch the Saints and anyone cares
