Agree about hitting the zoo in the fall. The Audubon zoo animals were much more active when it was 60 degrees.
The water park is fun for kids during the summer. Do a weekday if possible. Will be packed

Just got back from the BR Zoo. Sad sight.

The BR zoo is nice for a day, but it is lacking. no elephants or alligators or bears or lions.
