Best way to start booking Disney

Unless you have small children, the best way is to not do it. This Disney shite is out of control. I know adults who go 3 - 4 times/year. What the frick is wrong with you people?

Anybody at Small World Vacations is super. Let them handle all the booking & ressie details.

I'd does not cost anymore than doing it yourself. But saves you the headache.

Disney is awesome. If you don't get it, you're only pissing on everyone else's parade because you don't have you own.

I just finished booking through the Disney website. It was a fairly easy process. The toughest thing will be to book your dining reservations but since your trip is in November, you shouldn't have a problem. We're going the first week in August and the only dinner reservations we could get were at 9:30pm.

I don't have me own?
I've been to Disney twice. It's neat, but in no way a vacation in my mind.

Give me an umbrella, chair, football, and some beer on the beach on my own schedule every single year, over and over and over again, year after year, without ever going to some bullshite park, and I'm happy as hell. I don't mean to piss on your parade, bro, I hope you have the time of your life, I just don't get it.

If youve never stayed on the propoerty it's night and day. My wife knows that's a requirement if she ever wants to go again.

Going Thanksgiving week

Maybe you already know, but that is the Absolute worst week to go to Disney.
We're 15+ trip veterans, and avoid that week.
I'm guessing that's the only week the kids have out of school.
The best weeks to go are the weeks after Thanksgiving through Christmas week.

A massive pain in the arse? You can do it online in a matter of minutes.

I like to play things by ear. Is this a really bad idea for WDW?

It's only a bad idea if you don't want to wait in lines, have specific attractions/shows you want to do and care about the quality of where you eat.

With all guests having the ability to pre-book dining reservations (180 days in advance) and fastpass attractions (30 or 60 days in advance) lines will start building for things well before you even set foot in the park.

If you literally just want to wander around and do what you can, you won't need any reservations, BUT I think thats a bad return on the value of your ticket cost.

I was prepared for a letdown when I went there, but it was so good.

Get the Beef Shortribs, they are excellent

On Thanksgiving they do a separate holiday meal, but I agree the shortribs are the bomb.

Not everyone has the same idea of what is a vacation, that's why you don't get it.

Your ideal vacation sounds completely boring as frick to me. I like to be constantly moving and seeing new things on vacation. Seeing the same old beach and doing jack shite but hanging out is my idea of hell.

Some people like to do Disney a frick ton, some people like to sit on a beach, and some people like to travel, etc. We are all different.

Must have changed that? Used to have to sit on the phone on hold all day last time we jacked with it.

You can still do it on the phone if you prefer, but you have been able to book online for a few years.

The week after Labor Day is typically the lowest crowd week of the year and just about every single year is during one of their better promotions (free dining , up to 30% off room only, etc)
